How would you describe your photography style?
Artistic photojournalism - capturing natural moments with a film look. I love telling people's unique story with warmth, beauty and soul and strive to create it with a modern viewpoint.
What photography gear do you use?
I currently use a Canon 6D and only use L series lenses. Glass makes all the difference!
Do you have a studio?
No. I am a natural light photographer, so the beautiful outdoors is my studio. The only time I use flash is for specific photography and difficult lighting conditions.
What kind of design work do you do?
I design everything from corporate logos to wedding invitations to fashion prints to designing tattoos. I welcome any creative project! If you'd like to collaborate with me, please click here.
Are you on social media?
Do you travel outside of Mackay for weddings?
Absolutely. I love travelling both nationally and internationally. So if you are going somewhere exotic or remote or really awesome to get hitched, let me document the big day. I do require airfare, accommodation and usually a rental car. My wedding collections are the same for destination weddings.
How do I book?
In order to secure the date, I require a 25% deposit on the agreed cost (to be paid within 14 days unless discussed with myself) and signed contract. I have a convenient online contract and payment is made directly to my bank account which I provide once you've completed the contract.
How much time do you typically need for photos before and after the ceremony?
Ideally it's great to have your bridal party ready about 1 1/2 hours before the ceremony. This gives myself and perhaps the second photographer plenty of time to capture important portraits without being pressed for time. In saying that, I know sometimes unexpected things can pop up on the day so I am completely flexible. The main thing is for you to be relaxed as this makes for the best photos!
After ceremony: 2 hours is a great amount of time before the reception to ensure we get to a number of locations. The main thing is if the weather is clear, is to make the most of the glorious sunset light!
How many wedding photos will I receive?
For full day (12 hour) coverage, expect to have 500+ photos .
How long does it take for me to receive my photos?
Your online album will be ready in 4-5 weeks, and your USB, box and complimentary prints arrive shortly after that.
Do you offer albums?
Yes! I can compile beautiful, bespoke albums for you that will last a lifetime. Please contact me for details and pricing.
Can I book two photographers?
You most certainly can. The more photographers, the merrier! I only have select photographers who I work with who embody the same artistic, photojournalistic style. Please mention in your enquiry if you'd like a second photographer.
Can I book an engagement session separately?
Yes ! I love engagement sessions. I'm more than happy to do an engagement session if, just say, you are traveling somewhere else for your wedding, but don’t forget that I also travel for destination weddings!
What kind of engagement shoots do you offer?
I offer 30 minute mini-engagement shoots to one hour shoots. Please contact me for detailed pricing. Price includes edited high-resolution images on USB and online gallery to share with family and friends.
Do you capture engagement parties?
Absolutely. However please know my minimum booking for an event is 3 hours. Please contact me for pricing.
Engagement party collections include all high-resolution images on USB and an online album so you can download and share with friends and family.
What kind of portrait photography do you offer?
Mini 30 minute shoots to an hour. I offer editorial, portfolio, families and special occasion photography i.e. graduation formals. Please contact me if you would like a custom quote.
What events can you capture?

Are there conditions to be considered for an event booking?
Yes. The basic conditions are that events need to be a minimum of 3 hours and aren't events where the law is being broken i.e. under-age drinking, use of illegal substances
Do you offer a Photo Booth?
I don't offer this particular service, but can direct you some awesome local businesses who do! Contact me for their details.

Do you out-source printing or can I organise printing myself?
I have specific companies that I outsource larger printing jobs to, however I am able to provide print-ready files that you can use to send to any printing company of your choice.
